Joseph is a great example of this in the Bible. Joseph's slavery was the very thing that led to his promotion. He became the most powerful man in Egypt next to Pharaoh. It might have taken many years and caused pain but God lifted Joseph out of that place.

Soooo stupid but ... I have "Slippery Rib Syndrome".

WHAT????

I have had a very sore rib for a long time now and received my diagnosis.

I promise it is real. I was actually glad there was a name for it.

Made me feel somewhat better.

My spine is also very crooked and they think that is why it has been sore for a while now.

I am falling apart!!!!!

Went to Arrington Vinyards last night. It was my fist time and it was so pretty!

We had the most wonderful picnic from simplylivinglife.com. Jackie Gregory make the best food ever! Not just saying that! It was yummy to my tummy, and the wine was wonderful.

My husband and I got to get away for the evening and lay on a beautiful quilt and look at the stars!!!! I can't wait to go back in the fall!

We took country roads, rolled the windows down, and listened to music.

It's been way too long. Reminded me of growing up in Tifton staying out late driving down the dirt roads. One of the best times of my life. Wish I had known it then!!!!!

Been in Georgia for two weeks!!!!!! I feel so fat from all the southern food I shoved down my throat! Why are potatoes so good???? My mom can cook and I love it.

We also spent time in St. Simons GA. We took a long boat ride to Black Beard Island and played in the ocean all day. Later I got up with a local band and sang a few songs. Sad part was my hair is naturally curly and I let it dry by itself. UGH!!!!! People took pictures and I hope and pray they never show up on Facebook. Curly hair can be bad with out product!

Baby is crying got to go. He just woke up from his nap!!! SNACK TIME.

So it's 95 degrees outside and I decided to mow the yard. What was I thinking???

I love to do it, and it gives me a break from the kids. I guess it's somewhat therapeutic.

Anyway, we pulled out the slip and slide and I went down in my sundress!!

THAT'S HOW HOT IT WAS! Hopefully no one saw me.

Also found a cicada in my hair! I HATE THOSE LITTLE SUCKERS!

Look what is in our garden!!! Baby birds!!!

I hate that they don't really get cute for a while! It is so sweet to watch them eat and that my little ones get to see.

Hope everyone had a nice Easter weekend. We were in GA visiting family and had a busy time. We got to ride horses at my sister's house and experience heat strokes.

The Easter bunny put money in eggs this year. I totally should have been hunting. Bella made $10. WHAT????? My mom might have had something to do with that whole situation??!?!?!?

Rain, rain go away.......although it is good for my little garden. Made homemade veggie soup and plan on watching a movie with my hubby!!! WE LOVE NETFLICKS!!!!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Mine is going great! Just took down the Christmas decorations. I think I am going to be finding little pine needles all over for many months to come. I hate those little suckers!!! Just when I put the vacuum up I find a little pile somewhere else.

I also broke some ornaments, found things left in stockings, which I am thankful I found before next year! HEE HEE!!! Food is not something you need to find a year later in your stocking.

Our deer that lights up out in the yard is laying down on his side. I think he is over the whole thing. SO sad!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!!!!!! I hope you guys had a great holiday! We have been so sick. First my little one got a bad cold then my husband got really sick. Then on Christmas I got sick and for the last few days I have had the stomach bug!!! NOT A FUN NEW YEAR!!!!

We also had some mouse or something die in the wall or in the duct work. It has been the worst smell ever!!!!! My husband went and got one of those cameras that you slide into the duct work and it didn't really work. HEE HEE!!! Now we just have to wait for the smell to go away. Which makes me really sick. UGH!!!!!!!!

Oh well, remember Country Weekly I will be in is coming out next week I think...check the news stands. I think it is there anniversary addition. YEAH!!!!!!!!

WOW!!! I am sorry once again for not staying in touch!!! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! We went to Georgia and I ate entirely too much!

I just had the best salsa EVER!!!!! It is my new favorite. It is from a little restaurant called Oscar's in Franklin, TN. He should bottle it and sell it!!!!!!

I am so busy these days! It is always crazy with two little ones not to mention trying to work in the midst of the madness!!! I finished the song that I was working on with Tony Brown for the Cindy Walker record. It sounds great!!!

It was so exciting to be back in the studio singing. My husband Daniel arranged the music and the musicians rocked it!!!! I am trying to figure out how to share it with you guys. I found out they are not going to sell it so if I can get a copy I will try to have it on my Myspace. I know you won't be able to download it but at least you guys can listen!!!

I am trying to finish a song that I started this past week. I have not been this excited about a song since I was working on my first record "My World".
I feel like I have had writers block for a while. It's like I am coming out of a fog and have so much to say! A while back I was writing all the time and just not feeling like I could make sense of anything. I was writing with some AMAZING writers and would get so stuck and put so much pressure on myself that I would just say nothing. UGH!!!!
Life can do that to you sometimes and I guess I need to stay focused on the goal. I want to make great music that people love to listen to. I hope I can do that again!!!

I have been in my hometown of Tifton GA this week!!! I don't get to see my family very often so it has been so nice to hang. I feel like I am so bad a blogging!! Sorry it takes me so long to update!

Hey guys!!! So once again I have been bad and not blogged in a while!! I feel like the days fly by so fast and then I think about it when it is the worst possible time.

So last weekend I went to our fair and did something really stupid!! I rode the mechanical bull!! STUPID!!! It threw me off after 30 seconds and I cut my finger so bad. YUCK!!!!!!!!! It is better now but all I kept thinking about was getting some sort of infection. HEE HEE!!!! I also had deep fried Oreos and they changed my life!! If you ever get a chance by yourself some!!! YEAH!!

HELLO!!!!! Sorry it has been a little while! I went on a little getaway with the kids to the most dreamy southern place!! We went to Fair Hope AL. I was in heaven. I wanted to write a book after being there only for a few days! I don't know what is in the air but it had me under it's spell!

I miss it so!!!

We stayed on the bay with a wonderful family. One of my most special friends! It was nice to laugh with a girlfriend!!! Can't wait to go back!

I am a beauty product junkie. I love trying products that REALLY work and then sharing it with friends. One product that I love is ROC Retinol Correction Eye Cream. This product does what it says!!! It has been two years now and I see a big difference. LOVE IT!!!

I have used many eye creams that range from very expensive to very cheap and this one falls in the middle. None has worked as fast and as well as this one. It's under $25. They sell it at CVS and Walgreens!!

I wanted to be sweet to my husband today so I mowed the front lawn! WOW!!! With two little ones at home how in the world did I do it?? Well, all I know is that I used a reel mower and it took forever!!! I am afraid of gas powered mowers and my girlfriend had a reel. I hope he appreciates my hard work!!

Made a pot of coffee and I am on my second cup!!! For some reason I feel like I can't see until I have a sip or two. I am about to put my house back in order. We had a painter come and paint our living room and it looks beautiful. I LOVE IT!!! I just realized that my brass door knobs need to be destroyed!! UGH! I also need new light fixtures and new shades. I had no idea that a little paint would make me have to spend so much money!!
